I have been trying to download and save gifs ( the little moving pics),but alas although I right click and save pic as directed it wont do it !!!, its saving the pic as a bitmap image and it dont move, whats wrong?, can anyone help

Can you post a link to a page where the GIFs you're trying to download are?

Im actually looking for musical or dance gifs and the sites Ive looked at are all the same,Ive tried various ones.

What happens when you right-click on the picture?

thankyou for taking the time on this for me, Ive been on the site you gave and right hand clicked the dance gif but again it will only allow me to save as bitmap image and the blighter wont dance!!!

The beagle gif I had at christmas didn't wag when I saved him, but he wagged when I plonked him on my desktop

I've had this problem. I found something on the microsoft site and I emptied my internet cache and it worked as normal. Here's the link to the page: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;260650
