Hi all

I have 2 xd cards and an sd card crammed full of photos. Some of these I'd quite like to print in the future when i get around to it, but in the meantime I need the space for taking new photos.

My question is this. If I saved them all on my computer and wiped the card could I then at some point in the future send the ones I want to print back TO the card so that I can then take it somewhere to get them printed?

I've done this with CompactFlash cards and viewed the restored pics on the camera lcd. Never tried to print em like that but don't see why it shouldn't work. Even copied jpg files from one camera (a Pentax istD) to another (Canon EOS 5D) and viewed them on the wrong camera!

However...

Why do you need to put them back on to a card to print them? You should be able to put them on to a CD-R or DVD-R or a flash drive and get them printed form that. Or... once they're on your computer you could upload them to one of the various online printers - I believe www.photobox.co.uk does that tho I've never used it myself.
