it is about 120 I think. However all sent texts are stored as well so make sure that box is always cleared

do you send a lot of picture messages? That could be it. As far as I'm aware there is a certain amount of memory for media and then a certain amount of space for texts.

I must admit I have had this exact problem with mine. I'm not impressed with the phone as a whole to be hoenst.

I'm generally pretty impressed with mine, I used to have a Sony ericcson T68i, and then a Sansung e700. I didn't rate the samsung at all, it looked nice, that was about it. But sony ericsson have fixed most of the things I didn't like about the T68i.

I do agree that the memory allocated to messages is a bit small, considering there is about 40Mb of memory in the phone.

Apparently there was a bad batch so i have been told by o2 an i would say that we both have one of those phones... I think it is a great phone an dont really want to change it... other than all the problems i am having now its been the best phone i have had... meaning user friendly as i am used to nokia's in the past...

I have been given the following address to write to:-

Excell Logistics
Wain Dyke Way
Off Pontefract Road
Normanton
WF6 1TF

They will write back so i have been told an let you know what you have to do... unfortunately i haven't had the time to do so... but thats the address if you want to complain.

Thanks for that. I'll consider writing.

I also have problems with the battery life which is very poor but others I know who have the phone don't have this problem, so perhaps this is the same bad batch you were referring to.

Got bored reading so sorry if already said but I think the memory is shared so all your pictures, taken, recieved and stored all use the same memory as texts. I suspect you have loads of crap somewhere on it that you did not realise.
