I'm in mourning for Philip's pork shop, which has shut down after being on Heeley Bottom(Chesterfield Rd) for donkey's years!I used to love their pork, stuffing & crackling sandwiches, cooked to perfection.
This is a sad time in my life! R.I.P :shakes:

His meat sandwiches were amazing and the cakes! Tasted just like my nan used to make :)

Lovely things to buy and the guy in there always seemed so friendly!

And I bet you all still shop at Tesco and Asda so stop your crocodile tears!

Maybe if you had made an extra stop for a cake or bit of pork pie now and then they might still be there.

Or maybe the owner had a wealthy retirement?

I love pork sandwiches, without the apple sauce but plenty of stuffing and crackling!

Quite so! I was thinking that it's been closed for ages now, so if *Wallace* hadn't even noticed ... serves him right! These once a year customers, eh! :o
