i purchased spyhunter spyware , by the enigma group,from the internet about 12 months ago. i have been very pleased with it.
lately i have noticed a lot of discussion on the forum about adware and spybot,do i need to download these as well or am i ok with what i have.

You should be OK with what you have already bought, however you can try Adaware et al for free if you're curious about what they do, download Adaware (http://www.grisoft.com) from here, and Google (http://www.google.co.uk) for Spybot.

do i need it though, will it slow my computer down at all.

Ad-Aware and Spybot do not run in the background (You can set Spybot to if you want).

You just start them and run them once a week or so.


Spybot has loads of other features built in as well. Secure shredder, Startup list, TeaTimer, Immunise, etc...
