I spoke to Jill before she went on her hols and we are still ok for a knitalong on 30th Jan from 7pm at the Wool Baa. Could you vote in the poll to say whether you want to come:) It might be a good time to start the Febrauary stashalong.

wotsa 'nitalong' and a 'stashalong'?

Hello there! A knitalong is when we all choose something to knit, like the gloves or accessories theme and knit them/it. We each do it in the comfort of our own homes, and post comments on the forum as to how we are getting on with the project or if we have come across any problems etc. I suppose a stashalong is when we decide to use up all the wool we've bought, but never got around to using till now! :o Does that make any sense?:|

I darent vote until the last minute, because every time I say I will come, one of my family drops something on me or I get ill. So I am hoping to come and wearing garlic to ward off the germs.

I started a huge shawl to entertain myself during my Christmas break. I think I better come along next Wednesday to set myself a goal for this very big project... Hope you are all getting on well with your socks.

Whey-hey! Good news. not cancelling going, after all...I have managed to get the tickets changed for the Friday, instead, (It's cost me a bit more, as it's later in the week, plus a surcharge for changing the tix, but, hey... the company on Wednesday evening will be worth it! :D )

A quick plea - if whoever borrowed my books 'Divas don't Knit' and 'The Friday Night Knitting Club' is finished with them, could they bring them with them, as my Mum wants to borrow them. Thanks.

Sorry I couldn't make it tonight, I've got a nasty cough and didn't want to be spluttering all over everyone's socks/gloves/teddies. Hope you're all having a good time (sulk, sulk).
