Hi,

Something has been bugging me for a while! - Special K the breakfast cereal, I can remember when these first came out. I am SURE they were different to what they are now, they were lighter in colour similar to rice crispies and were shaped like little 'scoop' thingies.

Am I off my head?

Janey.

My favorite cereal, but now you have to read the box carefully as some add nuts , some add fruits, i like the plain type

Yeah I remember them looking like deflated rice krispies. Used to love them when I was little. Actually, try the red berry ones now, they're lovely. I'm too embarrassed to buy them in the supermarket so I get my mum to get them for me when I'm back home. :D

No chord: you are not, as you put it, 'off your head'.

Kellogg's Special K, certainly in the late seventies, resembled corn flakes in shape, but were a bit lighter.

I used to love them.

Now they seem to be a cross between a a small Quaver and a prawn cracker.

They would sell better if they made them in bacon & egg flavour, instead of cardboard flavour. ;)

the ones i buy look JUST like corn flakes, tried the fruit ones, they just seemed like bits on dried up fruit, although i'm sure they couldn't put REAL fruit in them, rather eat the plain and add my own fruit, like bannanas.

If they look like corn flakesnow, they've gone back to the old recipe.

They used to look like that and metamorphasised into Rice Crispies or little Quavers or whatever.
