....so luckily I had some yarn already in the rusty colours (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150201744796) that Mum likes for another scarf (from a lady on Ebay - must say her service is fabulous and she sent it prewound too). What scarf should I go for though - though I must say Im quite taken by Gems Dayflower scarf.

The Dayflower scarf is lovely to knit. I would highly recommend swatching first of all though. I regret not doing that with mine because I think the holes created by yarn overs etc are too big so you can't see the flower pattern as much, so I would have used smaller needles.
