Oh, what a hard question!

Like all these things it depends how I feel at the time, but my two current favourites would probably be Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) in 'Field of Dreams' and J P Harrah (Robert Mitchum) in 'El Dorado'.

The reasons - Ray Kinsella shows amazing faith in building his abseball pitch against all common sense - sometimes in life faith is the only thing that gets you through.

J P Harrah starts as a drunken Sherrif - no self-respect, no self-esteem, an apparently broken man and by guts and determination drags himself up to help defeat a local crooked cattle baron. The reasoning here for me is that any man can be redeemed, and build himself up again - no matter how far he falls - as long as he is good hearted.

Mind you - ask me again in a few days time and I might have different ideas. :)

This is a toughie which has resulted me referring to my dvd collection for inspiration :hihi: Not sure, but the only one I can think of off the top of my head is James Bond.

Why would I choose JB? Where do I start, the high life, exotic countries, the gadgets, the nice cars, the action, thwarting international criminal organisations and so on :)
