My son, who is 9yrs, has just started ice hockey training and would love to play in a ice hockey team. Can anyone advise me of how to get him in a team and what teams there are in sheffield for kids to join? Thankyou:P

Hi Ange , my sons both play for the Scimitars Academy. Is your son taking lessons at Ice sheff? if so when he has passed his level 5 , he can then go to hockey training there .. known as stick and puck. When he has completed this , he can then trial for the Sheffield Junior teams. Each team has an A squad and a B squad. My kids love it. However , be aware its a very expensive hobby for them . But very worthwhile.

Sorry Ange , just re read your post. You should be notified of the trial dates which are normally in the summer , however your son may be invited to train with one of the teams before the trials.
