You might remember me as the cocky doorman who thought he knew everything!

I worked at the Odeon cinema from 1991 to 2001 so did both the Barkers Pool and the Arundel Gate one..Do I know you? Im Fiona.

I can remember seeing 'Twins' at the Odeon in 1989 on a Saturday afternoon with my girlfriend.

Still think the red and mirror/glass building looks great even now!

I finished at the Odeon when i was about 20 years old in 1988 ,went to work as Assistant manager at The Marples Pub in Fitzalan Square
Im Brian by the way if anyone remembers me,used to work as Doorman and general dogsbody along with a tall bloke with ginger hair called Pat (was going out with a girl called Trish at the time)
And if anyone remembers a girl called Joanne Wood/Ashton gimme a shout,had a bit of a thing with her at the time and would love to hear from her again

The manager of the cinema at the time (Paul Archer) i think his name was) was seeing the mother of Lesley who was in charge of the shop,went out wth her a few times and got free video rentals and the pic of the posters and synopsis for new films that used to come in

I know Pat and Trish (who later married and had 2 kids). I live in Northumberland now but still keep in touch with Pat and get all the gossip from him. I knew Joanne Ashton/Wood aswell. I started in the shop at Odeon, Barkers Pool in 1991 and ended up at Odeon, Arundel Gate in all departments! I left in 2001.
My niece worked at Odeon, Arundel Gate after I left..Becky Wheeler.
