Do you like your photo being taken?

No I hate it :gag: Things get nasty if you point a cam at me :P

Yes, I'm ashamed to say that I enjoy having my photo taken.

Posing for a photo is a gift which some people have naturally, or a skill which you can learn. I spent most of my teens without a single photo of myself and later I realised this was a real pity.

You people who refuse to have their photos taken may live to regret bitterly in a few years time.

In these days of instant digital photography there's no excuse, you can practice at home and delete bad ones until you find a couple of poses which you are happy with.

I remember watching something on tv years ago about a middle aged woman who had had a photo taken in a photo booth on every birthday since she was 13. At the time you may hate the photo, but it's a great record to look back at when you are older. Especially as she always tried to wear something like a hat that she really liked at the time!

Still don't like having photos taken though!

Yes i do although judgeing by some of them i really shouldn't!!!

I also went through the teenage "Don't point that thing at me you facist!" phase but soon grew to love having my photo taken. I'm glad I have a decent catalogue of me with a variety of foolish haircuts which at the time seemed the height of cool.

I can't deal with it at all. I find it really awkward and struggle to even slightly smile. I usually end up looking quite insane. I find having a camera pointed at me similar to someone just staring at me.

I think I get satisfaction seeing what other people have to put up with all the time when they see my face.

At least I only have to walk behind it.

As a Leo, I think it's my birthright to have cameras pointing at me!:P

My Mum says that when I was a kiddie, I could spot a camera at 100 yards and would immediately pose!

On a serious note, I agree totally with those who've said in this thread that it's a real shame to let dislike of being photographed stop you having a full picture library of your life to look back on. If a photo turns out really horribly, you can always destroy it - if the photo doesn't get taken, the moment is lost to history.

I'm such a bouncy, tiggerish person with an amazingly amazing personality that the 2 dimesnsional medium that can support me hasn't yet been developed.

how rude! i hate photos as i always look a mong! the only photos i did like were my wedding day ones. not while they were being taken, but after when i saw em. photos from clubs always look nasty like people r wasted, prob what put me off

Having the picture actually taken is only a momentary nightmare - it's looking at them after that I hate.

Worst of all is when a dear friend claims she loves a photo of you cos it "really looks like you" & when you see it you like a grinning, cross eyed hippo :gag:

makes me giggle when my best friend wants a phot thru phone and i take about 10, then give up! who invented camera phones? idiot!!

never let them be taken. if any sneakly get me i'll destroy them or refuse to look at them

I hate having my picture taken... specially when Mother has the camera in her hand at a Family get together... argh! :help: :hihi:

Mind you i have had some nice ones taken of me in the past :D dont mind those ones :)

I think it can depend on who's taking the shot...

Its even better if its a digital camera as you can see if you like the shot they've taken or not before going to print... If you dont then just keep em clicking away till they take one that you give your approval on :thumbsup: thats my tip :wink:

yea my gf is1 of them while i always end up looking like a puffer fish :gag: i also blink every time there is a flash on the camera so if u looked through my photo album u would think im blind.
