Hi, YouMixIt, I'm Basil. That was, on first impression, a slick presentation, but you're not really telling me how your site differs from the thousands of other websites that amateur bedroom musicians can put their music on. Basically the reason why an artist doesn’t already have a record deal is usually because they’re not very good; after all there’s loads of artists who do have record deals who have difficulty getting heard.

For that reason I’m afraid I won’t be investing and I’m sorry to say, I’m out…..

The site looks cheap, and there are already established sites doing the same thing but better.

I know a lot of DJs and I don't imagine any of them will be using this site.

If "You Mix It" means the site lets you remix songs old and new to your taste then great. You could remove all the sax solos from Spandau Ballet records (or popular music in general), put acceptable basslines on Level 42 tracks, apply some heavy autotune to Ian Brown etc.

Does it do this? I refuse to look in case I'm let down!
