Hi there, some of may remember me from sometime ago. Anyway I now live in Doncaster with my girlfriend and my step son who is 18 months old. I have a baby on the way in May and want to move away from the idiots in my area of Doncaster. We are wanting to move, I have sugegsted Sheffield and my partner who has lived here most of her life agrees it would be a good place to move to for a fresh start etc. Plus I dont want my kids growing up around idiots.
So I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a list of Private Landlords in Sheffield that could rent us a house that is preferbly 2/3 bedroom house and already furnished and who take "social" because we currently do not work. Broadband would also be good, especially from Blueyonder as thats my current supplier and would like to stay with them.
Thanks,
Steve:thumbsup:
Hi Steve, all the landlords on our web site are private, feel free to have a look, you will need to register then yo can get access to their details, click on the 2roost banner on this page.
We do not deal with estate agents at all.
Good luck Caron

have a look at the accomodation sector of the sheffield uni website where you can use their housing finder to find private sector housing - not all of it is student housing. contact student services (SSID) at the uni for more information.
You can get a list of letting agencies from howden house (council) but its a bit out of date.
I think Mike Jolley Estates might take housing benefit but they do a credit check on you before offering a tenancy which costs £110 (non refundable)
hi i am looking forward for a one bedroom house in sheffield preferably in and around northren general hospital or london road, abbydele road or netheredge, hunters bar from begining of august for rent
please help me in this matter as soon as possible as i ll have to inform my present landlord in advance
Contact the Council (Property Shop) and ask them for the list of members of the Responsible Landlord Scheme, the list will tell you which Landlords accpet tenants on benifits and they all meet the Council's minimum standard of decent accommodation. They are more likely to be up to date with current legislation and aware of their responsibilites as Landlords.
I've got a 4 bed terrace on Chesterfiled Rd between Meersbrook & Woodseats for £70/week
