I've been looking for a site that gives a summary of all the redevelopment going on in Sheffield. Sheffield1 is good but not comprehensive.

Anyway as far as I know, the current major projects are:

Millenium Square - new square outside Winter Gardens
MacDonald Hotel - linking Peace gardens to Winter Gardens and Millenium Galleries
St Pauls Square - 23 storey residential development next to Winter Gardens
Sheaf Sqaure / Midland Station Redevelopment - new public square, water feature, sculpture
Sheaf House / Dyson House - demolition to mae way for new modern office blocks
Howard Street - creation of more attractive and safer pedestrian link from station to city centre
New Retail Quarter
Leopold Square - renovation of school for mixed use including hotel and restaurants
Barkers Pool - repaving, new seating and water features
City Hall - refurbishment
Snow Mountain - proposed leisure development adjacent to Ski Village to create Europe's largest snow dome
Sheffield International Airport (admittedly in Doncaster!!) - opens May
NCPM - conversion to Sheffield Hallam Students Union. NMB to be demolished and replaced with new Cultural Studies building
NUM building - demolition and replacement with mixed use development
Weston Park Museum - refurbishment
Old Jessops - demolition of non-listed parts and redevolpment of listed buildings
The Chimes - residential development in the Cathedral Quarter
V1 - 11 storey residential development on Tenter Street
Cala Eclipse - 22 storey residential development, St Mary's Gate
Scotland Street - 15 storey residential development
Castle House - mixed use redevelopment of Grade II listed building

Anyone know of anymore that's going on?

You might want to edit your post and put them in alphabetical order so it's easier to see what you've got. I think you missed the development on West Street on the site of Sinclairs shop?

Oh yeah, another one on West Street - towards the city centre. Not sure what it's called, but it's opposite Walkabout bar and they have been forced to keep the front exterior of the old building. Someone will know...

They're clearing land at the back of Meadowhall (Saisbury's entrance). It was an overspill carpark... Don't know why but I am curious if anyone does know why??

Also you've missed out the new inner relief road which is going through the Wicker, over the Don along Corporation St and joins Pennistone Rd. They're just starting this now!

Also loads going on at the Riverside Exchange.

A bit out of town but there's a major £30 million new ward block going up at the Northern General Hospital to replace the old Vickers wards.
