In Vist Add/Remove is called "Programmes and Features", so you could look in there. The best way though is to google you Norton version alsong with "removal tool". Download the removal tool, and run it and the wave bye bye to Norton!

If it's a new laptop and you're lucky enough to have the recovery CDs or DVDs, just wipe it. Norton has a nasty habit of not completely removing itself.

Even with the Norton Removal Tool, you'll still get traces in your registry.
Run a registry cleaner like CCleaner or EasyClean to get rid of those traces.
