Anyone have any ideas how to go about contacting musicians around shuffield? Moved up here a couple of weeks ago and I'm eager to find some other musicians to get a band together...shouty, dissonant stuff really...godflesh, helmet and so on....Im thirty years old so dont want to hang out at skate parks trying to press gang 16 year olds with linkin park hoodies.

Yes,
there are lots of extremely well organised and professionally run practice rooms in Sheffield. All have loads of bands and musiscians coming and going all the time.
And all have notice boards with requests for personel.
My advice would be to actually go down, have a sit down and a chat with the bloke/woman in the office, they are all friendly. And write down anything interesting on the notice board and give them a ring.
