Not their greatest fan by a margin, so it will certainly be interesting. Last time I saw stadium rock was Yes at the Webley Arena in 1990-something. Revolving stage and everything - it was pants.

I'm in block 206, which is about as far away from you as I can get while still being in the arena.

I never used to like them too much until a friend gave me his ticket to see them in 95. I was very impressed and became a bit of a fan. Then again, I was only 17 and very impressionable.

Eh? Support is from Athens band Now It's Overhead. I've heard their album, it's a bit dull and inoffensive but okay I suppose. From what I've read they're on because Michael Stipe is a fan.

REM seem to be playing a lot of stuff from their most recent albums which is understandable but most people will really be there to hear the 'hits'. Should be good though - I saw them at Old Trafford cricket ground a year or two ago and they were outstanding, even though I did have sunstroke!

Was just goin off an advert I saw in the paper for the tour - feeder/zutons must just be for the Lancashire cricket club date??
