Can anyone help? This is another issue driving me nuts!

Sometimes, when i scroll in applications, like Internet Explorer or word Etc, my music screeches while i am scrolling, and the music slows down too....so much so that it gives you a headache to listen to it! As soon as i stop scrolling the music returns to normal, but as soon as i try and scroll again the screeching comes back.

I have an AMD Athlon 1Ghz CPU and 632Mb RAM, and the sound card is onboard - is this the problem!? :help: :help:

Could be the graphics card, what spec is that?

Ah! If it's onboard, then I suspect it is the graphics (card?) that's the problem as it will probably be sharing recources with other stuff. When you scroll the window in an app it'll be putting the wind up the graphics chip!

make sure you've got the latest drivers for your motherboard and its chipsets, should sort out most problems :)
