Hi,

Does anyone know of any Wildlife Sanctuaries in the Sheffield area?

I'm looking for something quite specific - a centre similar to those of St. Tiggywinkles (i.e. probably a rescue/rehoming centre), where specific species are kept seperately, not a nature reserve where they all 'roam free'. Species need to be things like foxes and badgers.

If anyone knows of anywhere or even better if you are involved with such an organisation please let me know, thanks!

Hi,

The Help Yourself Database is a guide to voluntary and community organisations in Sheffield and might be a good first port of call. See http://dis.shef.ac.uk/help_yourself/

Try Parson Cross.

Jheez why do people have to make remarks about certain estates in sheffield

I mean Jordanthorpe is hardly any better than the cross is it?

And no Im not from Parson Cross.

To the OP hope some posters reply with sensible answers.

What annoys me is that your post was totally irrelivant to the thread.

Maybe your on an OK part of "Jordo" and was on a rough part of "cross" BUT I know how rough Jordanthorpe can be just the same as any other estates in Sheffield.

I think you may have Rose coloured specs on if you think the only trouble in last two months is a couple of ASBO'S that have taken place. (Im sure there has been other crimes even if not reported).
