Hi,

Can anyone recommend websites that you can send free texts to mobiles. I have used o2 but you only get 10 Free texts. I have not tried re-registering! because I guess that they will take note of your mobile number you have to put in!.

Any help please, I know lycos used to do it a few years back

Cheers

Zed

Try www.cbfsms.com
Registration not required, unlimited texts (but can be a bit temperamental sometimes)

The ones above are probably fine, but I know that some of them claim to give you free messages but then just keep a record of the number for spam.

I have used sms.ac before. It's free for sending 5 txt msg per day. But please dont accept to receive any message from them, e.g. e-bidding, e-psychic, etc. Coz you will be charged. I am using virgin pay-as-u-go and it almost charged me 50p per msg!!

I have been using www.cbfsms.com for about 2 years
with no problems.

Apart from the server getting busy, and you having to wait a set amount of time before you can send.
