Dean & Dawson, travel agency, top of Fargate until 71-ish....
Opposite Bradley's Records, next to HL Browns and with an alley way up the side....
Site of an old pub : in the cellars, 2 huge, solid-zinc containers, presumably for the ale at one time - must have been worth a fortune.
Building must have been later/around them, cos there's no way that they could've got them thru the cellar door.
Wonder who had them, and how?!

Dean and Dawson were at 66 Fargate in the 60's, Before the Victorian buildings such as the old Coles were built no 66 was a pub listed as such in 1876 , in the 18th century there was 6 coaching inns on Fargate. By 1927 no 66 was the FLEUR-DE-LIS John Percy Smith, Victualler.
But during the war the no 66 was the Fleur-De-Lis [Sheffield Temperance Society],social centre so the vat,s would be full of
