I have turned to the dark side. I have nearly finished my first s word or foot covering in deference to the great Wheezy one. I have short heeled rowed, dropped a stitch and gone back and picked it up (!) and heeled flapped. I even changed the pattern before I started. I must now ask to be initiated into the great S club. No songs please.

Would that be S Club 7? If so, who are the 7? Famous 7? or was that 5?

Yep, you have to suffer the Second Sock Syndrome first and knit a pair before we will accept you into the Dark Side. You had no excuse for not knitting them before now anyway! Not with a garage full of sock yarn :D

Glad to hear you are sock knittting too Jill! Am planning on knitting many, many socks this year and hopefully pairs not just singletons!

Maybe we need to find an Amputee hospital somewhere that would be glad of our orphan socks?

I can't see Darth Vader as a knitter of pink socks. I see him more of a chunky cable chap with a long circular needle for throttling the enemy with.
