been told i could put vhs vids to my PC some how then put them on to dvd from my PC!

im wanting to put some family footage to dvd CAN THIS BE DONE AND HOW ? please

to do it the way you've said you need a video capture card in your PC

if you haven't got that there are people out there who will do it for you, probably a few in this forum

or if you have lots to do Maplin do a vhs/dvd/freeview box http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=219555 that will transfer vhs to dvd

I use the usb vid capture maybe little dear but find them much better and less hassle Netto was doing one at one bit cheap keep checking there site they normally come back around also Lidl/Aldi between £20-£30 think they was , Argos dos one but is around £60

very easy should come with its own software but it can be used for many other devices.
