I've read somewhere that the book took off in America like a lead balloon and that she owes the publisher.

She also pocketed £100,000 from a charity tour. I always thought that doing charity work meant you didn't benefit yourself from it.

Hi
If you go to this site you will find allsorts of useful information, not keep you upto speed with world affairs but you might have a laugh.
For instance Tony Blair (who I believe is the most popular politician in USA) does not buy flowers on Valentines day. So he's not all bad. :)

Well you see poppins some of the time she likes to be known as Blair and some of the time Booth. She uses her postion as PM's wife when it suits and then becomes very independent when she feels that more 'appropriate' ;)

There are certainly things about her personal business dealings that she would have preffered to stay in the background...

I strongly believe they should have no place in politics at all.
Tony Blair was the one elected not her and has no importance or role in running this country.
The media don't help by following her scent everytime she opens the door at No10.

Agreed, Cycleracer. Cherie Blair was not elected, but at times you would be forgiven for thinking that she had. She is a kind of scouse Hilary Clinton, interfering, bossy and 'emotionally literate'. We unfortunately got two for the price of one there!

Oh! didn't realise she was like Hilary, you poor things, although Tony Blair dosen't seem the bossy type at all.
