My employer has encouraged me to study on-line for ECDL through Learn Direct. I am having difficulties downloading the courses, I can access the home page and other info pages but cant get any further. I am with AOL . Learn Direct gave me a fastload disc but I have had no luck with this, just the same problems. Anybody got any ideas ?

Do you think that this may have something to do with it?

This number is learndirect's service desk and they should be able to talk you through the steps to download your course and help with the problems you're experiencing.

I think it's a free phone line so it shouldn't costs anything to ring them.

Are you trying to use your computer at work or home? If at work it might be that your system is locked down and won't accept downloads. This might be why you can't use the disk either.
