Above.

It's a bit of a pain when you're going out to the local, but discover you're skint and need to visit the cash machine for money, and have to traipse all the way down Hillsborough to Bradfield Road etc for the nearest ATM and then come all the way back up Stannington to the pub.

Why can't they place an ATM machine either in or near the new Co-Op on Oldfield Road or elsewhere in the vicinity of the Oldfield Road block of shops?

It just seems a bit daft to me that's all.

I've noticed a few Co-op stores are fitting ATM machines, so you never know, you might be lucky in the future and get one.

Why doesn't one of the pubs install an ATM - there's one in the Hadfield on Barber Road near where I live - very convenient - OK there's a charge of £1.50 per transaction but it saves the inconvenience of having to drive to the nearest bank.

The Hare & Hounds pub has got a cash point. Would save you a trip into Hillsborough.
