Apart from Harrisons & Jessops what other camera shops are there in the Sheffield area.

Jacobs have a shop on Rockingham Gate, between The Moor & Charter Row.

Jessops much still have a presence somewhere in Sheffield.

I've always found Jacobs on Rockingham Gate very helpful - sometimes even have things in stock too.

Jessops at the hole in the road (as was - Commercial Street now I think) is handy - they have a surprising amount of stuff available to look over and play with.

There's the Sheffield Camera Center at the bottom of Ecclesall Road. I think that's what it's called anyway. Personally I've never had much luck there but they seem to know what's what.

Unfortunately, Sheffield is bad with camera shops. Jessops is useless with their prices and people so incompetent, that it hurts, Jacobs is expensive too, the shop on Ecclessal is ok, but they don't have too much stuff in stock. Luckily, we have Internet, and it rules! :) Stick to online shops - much faster, easier and cheaper than the high-street...

I've gotten better deals in Harrisons than online on more than one occasion.
And they are a lot handier, when you need something now.
