This was on a few nights ago on channel 4.
Apparentley there are certain men who deliberately feed their wives up to be obese because they like them that way.
The case shown was a man who encouraged and bullied his wife to get up to 58 stone, then took pictures of her to put on the net.
these type of men are called the feeders.
some even make their wives drink a very high fat substance in liquid form from a tube - forced feeding.
this poor woman got to the stage where she couldn't walk
and he had to do everything for her(which he loved).The shopping he did consisted of junk food and chocolates etc.
He lifted her in to the car only to take her to mac donalds.
They had a young child who they adopted, and this child had to
watch its mum slowly turning into this obese immobile pittiful person.
Also he did the same with his ex wife, but she eventually went to weight watchers and lost weight so he divorced her.
The woman on the program always said "Im doing it too make him happy".
The only think i can think of is that she must have been brainwashed, or her fear of him leaving her was greater than her fear of dying from gross obesity.
Did anyone see this.
