I do wish they would make there minds up. Yesterday it was reporting snow on Thursday in Sheffield from 3am ish onwards with significant falls . Now it (accuweather ) repors snow shows on thursday evening so therefore I assume we will have a heat wave at around 3pm :):):):):):)

Why cant it snow like mad on friday....then saturday....then sunday....monday etc etc etc until were under 6 feet of the stuff?

On another thread it says not and I looked at the 5 day forecast for Sheffield.
Thursday when this is supposed to be happening it says otherwise.
As usual we shall have to wait and see.

I hope, whenever it decides to snow, that it waits until I get home, as I don't finish work until 10pm every day from tomorrow and I live right at the top of Jenkin Road. Alternatively though, I have just had my ice skates sharpened so if it gets too icy I can skate to work lol.

There is a Meto (BBC) snow warning out....but not for us :(

So was I, but whats on the BBC website can be totally different from what's on the Met Office website it seems.

Personally I've learnt to trust the actual Met Office site.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Bitterly cold, windy on Thursday with sleet or snow showers. Still cold on Friday with further sleet or snow in places. Becoming much milder with rain on Saturday.
