My dad was playing on the wii he got for xmas and he accidentally hit my dog on the ear, it did hurt her at 1st but she was fine after a couple of mins, running round acting daft as usual and it doesn't seem to be bothering her or hurting her now, you can touch it and clean it and she's fine but it keeps seeping, only during the night, when we wake up in the morning all fur around her ear is dry and matted. Can anyone give me advice please? I don't know whether to take her to vets as she seems fine in herself and its not hurting her and thought it might clear up on its own, but I don't want it to get worse

What colour is it seeping? it might be infected, I'd get it checked out to be on the safe side

its not any colour as far as i can tell and it doesn't smell or anything

In that case I'd keep cleaning it and put vaseline over it or something to keep it clean just watch she isn't scratching it
