Anyone see the fire at the devonshire chippy at about 1 today. the shopped filled up with smoke, couldnt see anything inside it 2 fire engines arrived and were gone within half an hour.

Fortunately I've never eaten there, although I seem to remember that it looked a bit dodgy.

I've only ever been 2 or 3 times, but I thought it was fab! :clap:

Admittedly, I have always been quite intoxicated when I've patronised that particular establishment. :blush:

i think the it changed owners about a year ago, but i cant be too sure, its now an indian women who seems to own it

Uuurgh :gag: I shan't be going again.

I hate it when you can't do something / go somewhere anymore that you enjoyed 'cos you realised it wasn't as it seemed. I never know whether it's better off to not know? :confused: Surely there must be horror stoies about most places?
