I moved house in the summer and will really miss my greenhouse that I had to leave behind. I want to buy some cloches and a coldframe to make up for this loss. Has anyone any experience of which cloches are the best and has anyone bought any online?

Debk,
Join your nearest allotment association. You don't have to have an allotment to be a member. The fee is usually around £2 a year and you will be able to order from the Kings Catalogue (selling seeds, plants etc). The current one has some reasonbly priced cold frames and cloches on special offer. I buy fleece, netting and plastic forom the allotment shop at the Heeley and District site and make my own (much cheaper).

Keep an eye out in Wilkinsons in the next few weeks if you want something reasonably priced. I had a cold frame from B&Q last year which was good, but got stolen from my old house.
As far as online is concerned, have a look on Amazon.
Can anyone use the shop at Heeley. We are not lucky enough to have any such facilities on Hagg Hill.

Yes, if you pay the fee to join then you can use the shop and the catalogue. I think this applies to most society shops though you should check first. They all want the trade. There is a thriving shop at the Stubbin site with many non-allotments holders using it.
We are allotment holders just not at that site - do other association members get a discount !!!
I got my plastic greenhouse from Focus last year - 4 tier one for about £14.
