I worked right outside it for 10 miserable years up to '94 - on the outdoor market. Our stall was straight outside the doors by the watch-maker/key-cutter bit. Atkinsons was my saviour for a quick walk round to warm up every few hours. :(

I have always liked Atkinsons as its the only large family run store left. Its got atmosphere, and warmth.

I have been working in atkinsons for four years now on diferent departments its a friendly place

I don't work in it, but in the offices on top of it (Skills House).
