Sounds like an aerial booster.
You can get one with a variable amplifier control, and use it to pipe signals all over the house.
If you turn it up too high you could prolly send pics to your neighbours. I have one which I plumbed in about 10 years ago when I had lodgers, so they could watch TV in other rooms from the cable box, as I reckoned the signal suffered because of the amount of coax cable I'd installed to all the rooms. It worked very well and you could get a crystal clear signal.

he doesn't mention any cables.
Is it wireless Kirky, and do you need a receiver to plug into each tele you wish to recieve the signal?

I've got a resender (a unit to send the signal and one to receive it) and it works okay, although not great through several brick walls.

I use one of the videosenders so that I can watch things recorded from my TiVo in bed.

They're really good, but not a perfect solution unless you live on your own, 'cos you can still only watch one thing at once.

If you're considering using a videosender to relay Telewest Digital to another room, be careful 'cos most of the videosenders out there are not compatible with the remote control system of the Pace digital boxes. All Sky boxes should work though.

that's true, but not such an issue if you know you just wish to watch one program in bed or whatever.

It does depend on how many walls the signal has to go through though, and I find that my wireless network causes interference on the picture. Overall it's worth it though.

I had the same problem, but I found that putting a small piece of tinfoil under the reciever of the videosender woked wonders! Don't ask me how I found this out, I just have an inquiring mind!
