Hi,

I presume you have contacted the management team @ West One direct and not Centro Blundells?

This link has the details....

hi
thank you for the website.
yes I contact the west one team, and I was there to view the apartments. but the thing is that they don't have the cheapest apartments now and I really want to move to west one. And they don't know if they are going to have in June(that's when I want to move).

Hi

My contract here ends in May (my place will be vacant from June 1st), I live in one of the UQubes you're talking about. Its not definite yet whether I'll stay in Sheffield come June, but I'm thinking about moving to a house if I do anyway so my flat should be available from June 1st. I'll keep you informed either way ;)

Tracie, I'm interested in a uqube flat too, for the next academic year (Sept05-Jun06). Could you please let me know if you find another uqube to let. Thanks in advance!!

Tracie,
I am also interested in a UQube from July on. Do you know how many UQubes there are in total, and what would you propose is the best way to get one? The lettings office? And how early should one cantact them?

Thanks Andy

I'm not sure how many UQubes there are ('Uqubes', urgh, it just makes me shudder). I think the only thing you can do is contact the lettings office and then keep nagging them... however, occupants have to give one months notice before they vacant the flats so often the office won't know if a qube will be available for letting until a month before it becomes empty...

LOL I meant the name 'UQube' makes me cringe, it really is awful :o :P However, the flats themselves are lovely - I have no real complaints about living here at all :)
