My son loves his skateboarding but apart from Millhouses Park and The House is there anywhere else in Sheffield/South Yorkshire he can go?

devonshire green at the top over division street is a very good concrete park and it's free.
you might want to accompany him though as it can get a bit rough at the weekends
document skateboard magazine should have a list of parks and there usede to be a "street spots guide" book available from "route one" on chapel walk

Skate parks, as mentioned, theres The House (indoor near the Ski Villiage) and Devonshire Green (outdoor, concrete, get a few tossers on there at times)
Street spots, Tesco car park on Abbeydale Road, Safeway (now Waitrose) car park at the bottom of London Road/Ecclesall Road, Outside City Hall, Square in front of the Lyceum/crucible, Bit between the old roxys building and the Odeon.

There are quite a few skaters congregating near the virgin gym on little london road nowadays.
