He won't walk with me, only my husband?! He sit's down and cries when i try to take him out! He is also scratching alot and iv'e checked him for fleas but can't see anything, is this normal for a puppy of 16 weeks? Also yesterday and today, he's woke up with green sleep from his eye. Am I just worrying over nothing or are these things normal?

he may have conjunctievitis which needs medication to clear , i would take him to the vet.
Has he been wormed? even if you can't see any fleas on him he may still need some flea treatment.

How long have you been walking him for? If he is quite new to walking he may still not be quite sure about going out for a walk.

However, I have never had a dog and so this is only a guess. I'm sure the dog owners here would know a lot more about this than I do.

Green sleep (love that phrase!!) sounds like an eye infection.

With regard to going out - try going out with hubbie and dog, and take the lead on occasion. Do this oftn enough then ask hubbie to 'drop back' a bit on walks to get the pooch sued to being with you.
