I'm off to the Corp this Friday with some friends and was wondering if anyone can tell me how good the quality of music/crowd/atmosphere is on that night of the week at the moment?

I've been told that Saturdays are good right now, but the guys from the band are only out on Friday and we're planning on popping down there after the Atraiou gig at The Grapes.

corp friday is essential!!! best night out by far.

the main room downstairs plays tune after tune... summat for everyone!!! it really is damn good.

not usually a mosher myself, i decided to partake this friday and got thrown all over the place but everyone in the pit was straight down helping me out - truly friendly people!!!

have fun, may see you ;-)

Spotting me might be harder than you think...only one other forum user has ever seen the face and heard the name.

I may be going tonight (pm if you want a beer).

Upstairs mystery machine - indie.

Downstairs main room - more rock/nu-metal/grunge/some indie/some classics (almost some brighton beach tunes surprisingly!)

Downstairs side room - only popped in here, think more punky.

Obscure stuff that empties the dancefloor is usually the forte of some of the DJs!

Corp on a friday isn't too bad.. you just have to be careful you don't trip over the numerous blatently under 18's in there! (And I'm talking 14 yr olds here!) Mondays are better - well cheaper drinks, semi decent music in the main room downstairs, altho, if you like your punk without a side of Avril Lavigne, may I suggest room 2 on a Friday instead.
Enjoy!
