The people are great and its close to the co-op,butchers,chippie,video shop,churches,schools,bus routes, lots of fields, perfect for children because i have lived at aston in a detached 5 bedroomed double garage and i would rather live on sevenside

Funnily enough, I live there too - the only real problem we have noticed is the kids going up and down our road on those motorised scooters / mini bikes.

I pulled out of my drive the other week and nearly ran one over as it was heading straight for me - what did I get from the kid who was on it ? the middle finger !

Ive lived on severnside
and i must say out of all the other estates in woodhouse severnside is the worse
the kids r just out of control and always up to no good trashin the area and having no respect for their elders tormenting oaps its so unfair for the decent folk
i couldnt wait 2get away from there but the rest of woodhouse is ok and would recommend it :thumbsup:

I have just spotted two kids of 15 or so wandering around with an air rifle, pointing it at peoples houses etc !

Best description I can give is "chav" (one of them is on crutches)......Already heard reports of peoples pets being shot at etc - if spotted please report them to Moss Way police station.

These two must be stopped - how long before they start shooting at our kids ?

I have lived in severnside for just over a year and i can honestly say that it is has def got 100% worse since i last lived here 3 years ago.
The top part of severnside is not too bad but down at the bottom near to the woods it can be a real nightmare, best thing to do is keep logs of all that happens around where you live and try to find out who the problem children are and where they live then report it to the police anti-social team who will force the council to take serious action against the parents of the children that are causing problems. It does take time so be paitent and strong willed,and remember most teenagers try to intimidate you as they live for the reactions they get which makes them look good in front of there mates so best ignore them and report any anti-social activity to 101 (new police number) and sheffield homes anti-social team..

all you people talk rubbish ,its people like you lot that give it a bad name ,ive lived here for 10 years at the BOTTOM ov the estate and my kids havnt had a problem here growing up ,at the end of the day its a council estate so gangs can be expected .
as for kids running around with guns ,ive seen none in all the ten years ive been here ,come 7 o clock all the kids are gone and its so quite .
the motorbikes are a pain and as gone of since i was a teenager but this should be down to the police to sort them out ,most of the lads on them arnt even off 7side .
in sheffield theres loads of estate i wouldnt dare walk round and one of them isnt 7side lol :)

we all talk rubbish, if it was'nt the case then please explain why the council will be taking steps in the next few weeks by installing CCTV as they are fed up with all the problems assosiated with severnside...

you say you have lived on severnside for 10 years then you must know the problems this estate has had in the past, do i need to name and shame because belive me i will...;-)

just off stradbrook rd, some parts are ok but the bottom end of severnside is not so good, i must admit since the council got rid of the >deleted name< things have started to improve a little...
