View Full Version : Will SWFC get relegated this season? slimsid2000 24-12-2007, 14:13 Will Wednesday go down a division at the end of the season. is there no hope for them now? Heyesey 24-12-2007, 14:38 Why would there be no hope for a team that gave everybody a six match start and has already escaped from the bottom three despite that? UrbanCaveman 24-12-2007, 14:41 I admit that things aren't looking great at the moment, I'm very worried about us being in the bottom three again by Mid-January but I have hope. Theres plenty of speculationa bout who we'll sell, who we might buy and a possible takeover. I'm quietly confident for us to escape the bottle table scramble with plenty of time and have a possible mid table finish by the end. All speculation though, football is a funny old game. firecracker 24-12-2007, 14:59 At the end of the day, there are at least three sides in this division worse than Wednesday - and they'll survive simply because of that. tosh13 24-12-2007, 15:06 Not a chance they have had a couple of injury problems ,but they will be ok.good luck to the Blades & Owls in the new year. brooksy 24-12-2007, 15:32 Given the players coming back shortly id say no chance.Merry xmas and good luck to both clubs in the new year.:):) little_m 24-12-2007, 17:17 YES.:banana::clap::headbang::headbang::wave: Heyesey 24-12-2007, 17:27 At the end of the day, there are at least three sides in this division worse than Wednesday - and they'll survive simply because of that. Being too good to go down has never stopped anybody before. A.B.Yaffle 24-12-2007, 18:22 I think it is very unlikely they will be relegated. I think Laws is a good manager and will manage to keep them up, in spite of injuries and lack of funds. It's a pity United have good players but a clueless manager, can't we swap managers? :hihi: SpeedwayDan 24-12-2007, 19:00 No we won't go down, next question! madowl 24-12-2007, 21:24 No... Have faith. or have Thirty million reasons not to get relegated this season... buddaboy 24-12-2007, 22:41 no I do not think they will go down, i would say around 12th place finish.. Romario 25-12-2007, 13:52 I realy feel sorry for Brian Laws, he's a good positive attack minded boss that has his hands tied as far as cash goes, but i believe he knows whats needed! Also lots of bad luck, which is so evident! Franny Jeffers just seemed to be getting some match fitness & form & who knows what he could have done partnering Sodje & then nobody would have been saying we are lacking in depth upfront! Tudgay & Burton are adequate frontmen to bring on. Kavanagh too, if he'd stayed, who knows & Michael Johnson too. I'm just wondering how much better a team at the moment we'd be if Kavanagh, Johnson, Jeffers & Sodje would have been regulars together over the last fiew months! Hindsight & all that! SpeedwayDan 25-12-2007, 21:17 yeah losing Michael Johnson would be a massive blow, he's been solid for us, i think we're all hoping we can sign him on a full transfer now. Was nice to see him walk around the pitch and get a standing ovation at the end of the match on saturday firecracker 25-12-2007, 21:24 No... Have faith. or have Thirty million reasons not to get relegated this season... Just one reason is enough - the fact that there are just enough poor sides in this division to save the Owls. |
