If you going to go down this road, do it the REAL way..none of this plastic modern crap.....I have a 1957 solid wood 'Radiogram'.it cost me £20 on Ebay...it sounds superb with the old vinyl and has more power than any modern 'music centre'. .....Lovely raunchy 'valve' sound with all those wonderful record pops and crackles....and on mine its an autochange record deck so can stack up to 8 LP's and just let them play one after the other.......fab

There is a shop in the FORUM on Division St. which might sell things like that; it sells retro furniture, comic books, audio equipment, etc.

dunno if they'll have anything you want, but i went in to have a look the other week and the lady was really nice and they had loads of old stuff i was just desperate to buy... mmm classic 80's toys ;) loads of nice furniture and stuff like that. try em!
