HELP.....

I need a shop in sheffield that sells large nursing bras for breastfeeding my new arrival due in 3 weeks.

Easy you would think...WRONG i know evans, marks, john lewis, and mothercare dont do them big enough.

I need at least a 48 back size and most stores only go up to a 44, the cup size i usually can get but not both!

Had trouble finding anything on the net too, but would prefer to buy here if poss!!

Sorry can't help you there as you've tried all the places i would have suggested. If you really get desperate and you can't find one, buy the biggest one you can and then you can get those sort of "bra extenders" i don't know if you've seen them. I think they do them in catalogues like avon and it extends the back of the bra by three "pegs" or as many as you like i suppose if you join them all together.

hope that makes sense!

I'm very much not of the ample bosomed variety, much to my dismay :P, nor am I planning children any time soon, but TV is cr*p tonight and I'm bored so a quick scout of the net returned this:

Ample Bosom (http://www.amplebosom.com/) , they have a nursing bra in 48 C-H for £28.00

Also Mother Nature Bras (www.mothernaturebras.co.uk) have one in 48 D & E at £27.00 and there is also Nursing Bra (www.nursingbra.co.uk) which has about 8 different bras in a 48.

Hope there is something in there to help and all the best with the impending arrival!!

Just an idea, do nursing bras fasten the same as the none nursing bra type? if so you could try and older ladies type shop to get a bra extender to give you more room around your chest?? i say older ladies as they make there bras last for years, although the cup size will prob be the same i think they would give you a few inches. hope this has hepled. x

edit: and that should teach me to read earlier posts.

Hi

If you get in touch with the NCT then they have a lady who will come to your house and measure/fit you with an appropriate bra. They have a website or you can get their number from netmums.co.uk (?)
