View Full Version : Warnock kidnapping plot...
A.B.Yaffle 22-12-2007, 16:44 Does anyone else think it would be a good idea to kidnap Warnock when he returns to Bramall Lane next Saturday?
That would assure us a play-off spot, or quite possibly an automatic promotion position by the end of the season.;)
Agent Gypo 22-12-2007, 16:52 Count me in.
alex3659 22-12-2007, 17:43 bet palace cant believe thier luck.
happyhippy 22-12-2007, 19:50 I'm up for that.
Kind of noticeable Palace have moved from nowhere to 10th in a few weeks.
Floridablade 25-12-2007, 20:31 I must admit I was one of his critics mainly because of his constant complaining but I have to admit the Blades were lucky to have him, he's gone now, our loss Palaces gain. Palace will be in the play offs we will be mid table.
Floridablade 25-12-2007, 20:33 Give him a rousing welcome.
warnock best manager in championship by far !! robson OUT !!! useless he soo prone 2 relegating sides
Floridablade 26-12-2007, 16:07 it's no good blaming the manager that isn't where the problem lies, the boardroom is the problem they just will not spend any money and who can blame them when 26,000 turn up to watch old crocks they bought for peanuts. How anybody can miss a penalty is beyond me, the 'keeper is going to dive one side, he has to to give himself a 50/50 chance so all you do is pop it down the middle it'll not work all the time but a better option than going for a bottom corner.

Robson has spent £7m on new players, and failed to address areas of the team that desperately needed strengthening.
Tactically Robson is severely lacking. Warnock was hardly Mourinho but at least he could motivate players.
CHAIRBOY 26-12-2007, 17:52 I said how dreadful Robson was as a manager when he was rumoured to be coming to Hillsborough. I don't know how Gibson had so much patience with him at Middlesbrough? When he was finally ousted - and shown up by Venables's more able acumen, he moved to Bradford and then West Brom - experiencing relegation with both teams.
He got a trip to Wembley with Boro by false pretences, at Chesterfield's expense - courtesy of referee Elleray!
How uninspirational it must be, listening to him droning on. Heaven knows what Clare Tomlinson saw in him?

What's beyond me is how anyone whose paid job and lifetime career has been to hit a ball accurately, can't hit a one-foot-square target from twelve yards with a stationary ball. They ought to get it 100 times out of 100, whether the keeper dives the right way or not; just pick either top corner and put it there. If you can't hit that accurately, you're a goddam bloody awful footballer.
Floridablade 26-12-2007, 18:38 7 Million is peanuts nowadays for one player never mind 1/2 a dozen. Yes most fans knew when he was appointed he was a dud but who appointed him, the board, they must take responsibilty just as the FA are responsible when England fail. Why do players like Jagielka and Brown leave at the first opportunity, because Bramall lane is a go nowhere club, it always has been and always will be.
Just look at the Lancashire clubs and Middlesboro they've always had ambition to succeed and they're small towns. 26,000 turned up today, all I can say is Sheffield must have very little to offer as an alternative to watching so-called professionals miss penalties. Nobody would like to see United succeed more than me but after many years hoping it's dawned on me it will never happen, don't waste your time and money.
barmyowls 27-12-2007, 22:13 i still say keep robbo as blades boss:hihi::hihi:

Know what you mean but I wouldn't wish him on anyone - he is a disaster and is so thick-skinned. "Give me time", he pleads. He'll never find another ally as tolerant as Gibson. The plus for the Blades and the adage "things happen in threes", he's already taken Middlesbrough, Bradford and West Brom down!
