I've got some good news and bad news...

What do you want to hear first?

When someone says this to you, what would you like to hear first and why?

Always the bad news first - can't enjoy any good news properly whilst the fear of bad is hanging over you.

Plus once you've heard the bad news & attempted to get your head around it there's always a fighting chance that things can only get better :)

I like to get the bad news out of the way, once it's out in the open and I know what can be done to resolve it then I'm happier.

This puts me in mind of a joke I once heard, but on reflection, it far too non p.c. to post! :blush:

Incidentally, I always want the good news first. It gives me the option to run away with hands over ears shouting la la la la la!

if they say that you know it's not too bad really, i normally go for the bad news.

I've got some good news and some bad new.

The Bad news is:- All you've got for supper is horse sh*t :D

The Good news is:- there's tons of it :lol:
