dunno but I heard it from my desk and Im near the arena, hope noone is hurt, sounded vv loud.

No but there a lot of black smoke came out from there as well.
It's all gone now though

Yes there was a loud bang and some smoke.

Several fire engines turned up, seemed to die down fairly quickly whatever it was.

It did seem to go away quickly, still didn't look too good.

I know you meant that as a joke, but people really could have been very badly hurt or worse.

If I could feel the explosion from where I am imagine what it would have been like if you were working in there.
