Trying to change my screen saver display and keep getting this rundll.exe error message and having to close the dialogue box. Does any one know what's causing it?

Rundll.exe deals with executing other programs from within Windows (put simply!!)

If it's throwiinmg a strop it indicates that the screen saver you're trying to run is probably broken in some way.

Been to the Uni and after a rudimentary inspection of the hard drive they've backed up all my emails and we've agreed that at the beginning of next term I'll take the entire tin crate with all my OS software for them to reinstall and set it up as it should be. So here's hoping that it will hack it through until then.

Just as well I've still got my desktop and perhaps I should transfer across to that.
