Every night we have the same battle of wills, the cats are so sneaky and make sure that they are out just in time for my late night dog walk, no matter what I do I just cannot catch them they are so evasive
As soon as we set off there they are running and bounding ahead with tails in the air as if its the best treat they could ever have :hihi: not to mention the on route joyous tree climbing... OMG 3 dogs and 2 cats is just so embarrassing, people stare and laugh :help:
Does this happen to others or is it just me with sneaky cats that want to be dogs? :suspect:

My cat comes for a walk with our dog in the evenings, sometimes the mornings in the woods too but not often!
Generally she'll only go so far though before she sits down and just starts wailing really loudly!! I try to get away quickly before the neighbours start wondering what's going on! :hihi:

When my daughter was a baby our siamese (lillie) used to follow her everywhere.
She'd WOW at the loudest possible level if she thought that my daughter was going anywhere she shouldn't.

When I was a kid my cat used to follow me everywhere, especially along the brook close to where I lived.
I remember him running ahead and hiding in the long grass so he could leap out onto me as I got close to him.
Ours used to come with us on all walks with the dogs and hurdle through the gardens at the side of the path. She used to follow me to the local and wait in the bushes to come back with me too:hihi:
My cat Mandu follows me to the end of the road. Quite cute really :)
