A colleague wants to buy a bottle of Dubonnet but finding it is out of stock in a lot of places. Anyway know a shop which definitely has bottles on the shelf? (Preferably city centre, else Boomhiil / Fulwood areas).
Thanks

If all else fail i.e Centre, Fulwood etc he could try Mitchells at Meadowhead they have a vast range but a phone call might be useful.

What a blast from the past, my Mum used to drink that with lemonade when I was a nipper.:)
Try Mitchels Wine Merchants at Norton.
Have you tried the Dram Shop on Commonside? They normally have everything I look for, including white port and Marsala.

As it happens, my colleague wants it for her mother (favourite Christmas tipple, apparently). Don't know if she takes lemonade with it though....

Harrods or F&M
My my, that would end up expensive, nice to have a comp on prices though, $9.89 here in the states at Safeways.
Try this cocktail,
Squeeze of lime, one measure Campari, two measures Dubonnet Rose and soda to taste.
For the knock you off your socks version add a measure of good quality vodka.
Oh forgot the maraschino cherries 2 or 3 should suffice.
Its called an Americano and is the favored drink in the officers mess of the Legion in Marsales.
Try Mitchels Wine Merchants at Norton.
They don't stock it.
i bought a bottle at waitrose last week - it wasn't the last one.
They don't stock it.
I'm shocked.

Blast from the past indeed. I used to drink it on occasion in the 80s when I flirted with gothicness, it went well with the Byronic shirt. You've got me all nostalgic now, I might try and get me hands on a bottle too.
