I'm looking for a breakdance tutor in the Sheffield area.

Anyone who knows of someone who can teach flexible beginners with a passion and willingness to learn, please either post here or email me (PhoenixDDesigns@aol.com).

If there is a class already being run, I, and some friends, would definately be interested in joining. Private tuition would also be considered.

Many thankx 8)

Breakdancing? Wasn't that big in the early 80s? Has it made a comeback or am I in a timewarp?:?

um... I know several people in Derby who teach, and I'm off there tonight, so I'll make some enquiries...

Are you guys beginners??

Yeah, pretty much beginner.

I know a bit of basic stuff, like moonwalking, and things, but probably best to be treated as a beginner.

Anything in sheffield / rotherham / 20 mins of sheffield any direction I'd try and get to, seeing as I'll be driving pretty soon.

Any information from anyone, just a fone number or something, much appreciated.

Many thanks

I've got 'my people' working on it... (they don't call me agent dan for nothing!!)

I'm really up for something like that and my old housemate used to break dance professionally so there'll be more news soon...

Many thankx Dan...keep us posted.

I know for sure I could get a group of probably more than 7 people who would want to do regular classes.

We'd almost all go to the same school.

If anyone knows anyone who does classes or could start them as they're good enough, please ask them to email me

Many thanks, keep us updated Dan!! 8)

The man to watch out is Nigel Lowman, next to Leadmill there's a door, and upstairs is where they teach breakdancing and all over the city.

They call the team STREET VIBE. His is the true breaker. He's been in the game since 1980 and no, not time warp, breaking never went out, just the nigh clubs wanted it left out while many of us carried on somewhere else. Usually hiring small venues to train in, which I still do and have done since 1980 but wont teach it. Pain in the butt to teach. One can learn if they really want to on their own, which what many of us did.

I love to do freerunning so anyone knows anyone that teaches it in Sheffield then that's what I like to do.
